Bissell Little Green Multipurpose Cleaner Tutorial & Review

If you're looking for a machine that will clean your carpets and not take up too much space in your home, the Bissell Little Green Cleaner is a good option. It's easy to set up and easy to use and is light enough to be moved around without too much effort.

After unboxing, there are only a few attachments to assemble. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver. You will first attach the flex hose clip into the opening of the front of the machine. Next, add the hose grip bracket by sliding it into the opening on the back side and tighten with the provided screw. Wrap the flex hose around the machine and place the hose grip into the bracket.

Remove the clean water tank from the machine. Unscrew the cap and add the included Bissell formula to the formula line. Then fill with warm tap water to the water fill line. Do not use hot water! Set the water tank back into the machine. Then attach your preferred cleaning tool, ours came with 3 tools:

1) The 3 inch tool, great for carpets stains, furniture and other hard to reach surfaces.

2) The spraying crevice tool.

3) The HydroRinse self-cleaning tool.

Unwrap the hose from the machine and plug it into an outlet. Press the power button to turn it on. Point the tool 1 inch above what you intend to clean and press the spray trigger. Release the spray trigger and gently scrub back and forth. This works great on carpet and certain upholstery. As you clean, the dirty water tank will fill up with dirt, dust and debris. If you plan using this on your furniture, be sure to check the manufacturer's tag and only use if it has the code "WS" or "W". On a sofa, try using the cleaner on a small section first. Wait 24 hours till it dries completely to see how it looks before fully committing to cleaning the entire sofa.

When finished, dump out and rinse the dirty water tank then place back onto the machine. To clean the hose, refill the clean water tank with warm water. Attach the HydroRinse tool and hold in an upright position with the machine on. Then press and hold the trigger for 30 seconds.

We really love how easy the Little Green machine is to assemble, how compact it is to store, and how effective it is at cleaning.
