We love our Ninja Creami Deluxe, and we're always trying to find new recipes to enjoy during the colder months as well as the hotter ones. We wanted to find a frozen treat to have for Thanksgiving. With lots of experimenting, we came up with a Ninja Creami Pumpkin Pie that is delicious and keeps the calories relatively low. We use a Creami Deluxe machine, so if you are using a classic Creami with the 16 oz containers, divide our measurements by 1.5 to get the correct portions. Here's the recipe:
Ninja Creami Pumpkin Pie
1.5 cups Fairlife Whole Milk
2 Tablespoons Swerve
4 Tablespoons Agave Syrup
2 teaspoons Sugar Free/Fat Free Vanilla Pudding Mix
1.5 cups pumpkin puree
1.5 teaspoons Pumpkin Spice (1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp ginger)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Note: You can make this recipe as healthy or sugary as you want it to be. You can add or swap any of the sweeteners, types of milk or spices in our recipe. We used a Swerve and agave syrup combo to keep the calories low, but you could just as easily use 6 tablespoons of granulated cane sugar for the best possible taste. You can also alter the pumpkin spice mix with nutmeg or clove to get a flavor profile that you prefer.
Step 1:
In a small bowl, add all your dry ingredients including 2 teaspoons of Sugar Free/Fat Free Vanilla Pudding Mix, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, 1/4 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 2 Tablespoons of Swerve sweetener. Mix together with a fork and set aside.
Step 2:
In a mixing container, add your wet ingredients including 1.5 cups of canned pumpkin puree, 1.5 cups Fairlife Whole Milk and 4 Tablespoons agave. Grab an emulsion blender and start blending the pumpkin and milk together. While blending the wet ingredients, begin to slowly add the bowl of dry ingredients to the liquid. This process should take between 30-60 seconds. When finished, pour the liquid into an empty Creami container. Seal the lid, label it with paper tape and a sharpie if need be, and stick it in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
Step 3:
Pull the Creami container out of the freezer and let it sit on the counter for 10-15 minutes. Then run cool or warm water on the outside of the container for 30 seconds to ensure there's no ice chunks when spun through the machine. If a mound has formed during the freezing process, be sure to flatten it out with a spoon before loading the container into the Ninja Creami.
Step 4:
Load the container into the Creami Deluxe and select the Ice Cream setting. After the first round of spinning, if the texture is a little powdery add a splash of milk or water and do a re-spin to get a creamier consistency. Then to get the full pumpkin pie effect, add a few graham crackers to mix in. This may be an unconventional way to enjoy pumpkin pie, but the creamy texture, rich pumpkin flavor and holiday spices will still satisfy your sweet tooth.
