Here's a homemade peanut butter cup Blizzard recipe, that's high in protein and easy to make using the Ninja Creami Deluxe. If you're using a Creami that uses the 16 ounce pints, divide the measurements below by 1.5 to make it all fit.
Protein Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard
2 1/12 cups of Fairlife 2% Milk
1 1/12 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon Collagen Peptides
2 Tablespoons Agave Syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Scoop Isopure vanilla whey protein powder (which is roughly 4 Tablespoons)
Peanut Butter Cups (for mix-in)
Step 1:
Add all your ingredients to a mixing bowl. Whisk everything together really well then pour into an empty Creami container. Seal the lid and place in the freezer for 24 hours.
Step 2:
Pull out your container and set it on the counter to thaw for 15 minutes. If a mound has formed during the freezing process, scrape it to make a flat and level surface.
Step 3:
Load it into the machine and choose the Lite Ice Cream Setting. When finished, it should look a little powdery after the first spin, which is fine because we are going to add our peanut butter cups for the mix in. Make a hole and add the peanut butter cups, about 3 or 4. Load back into the machine and choose the mix-in setting. You can do a re-spin before or after doing the mix-in depending how creamy you want this, so feel free to experiment. Crumble an extra peanut butter cup on top and enjoy!
