When you start to notice little marks on your dishes, you begin wonder if there's anything you can do to fix them or if they'll need to be replaced with new dishes. We saw a video on Instagram of a product called The Pink Stuff, and hoped that could work.
The Pink Stuff is a mildly abrasive paste that can help lift dark marks and blemishes on plates and stainless steel. It's fairly inexpensive on Amazon so we decided to give it a try. When you open the lid, you'll see it is indeed a thick pink paste. Grab a soft cloth or sponge and gently rub The Pink Stuff on the blemished area of the dish or kitchen item. You don't want to rub it on too hard because it can cause scratches on your plates.
As you rub It In with light pressure, the blemishes will start to fade. Some go away completely and some will lighten a bit. For us it's not a miracle product, but It significantly lift the dark scratch marks up. We personally had more success with the stainless steel items which lifted about 95% of the discoloration and buildup.
On our porcelain dish ware, it lifted anywhere from 75-100% which Is good enough for us to consider this a successful product. You can also use this on your kitchen sink to lift all the stains, if you drink as much coffee as we do. On a scale of 1-10, we'd give The Pink Stuff a solid 8 as it did what it claimed to do.
