Vinxper Electronic Wine Aerator

We are fans of a nice glass of wine. Earlier this year we went over to a friends house and they had this really cool electric aerator that, with just the push of a button, really cut back on the amount of time a bottle needed to breathe! We received the Vinxper Electronic Wine Aerator as a gift a few months ago of our wedding registry and we are so glad we put it on there.

The Vinxper essentially replicates the amount of time you would need to let a wine breathe in a matter of seconds rather than hours. It comes with a booklet that tells you what setting to use based on the region and style of wine your going to have. The dial on the back of the Vinxper ranges from 0-240 minutes. There's no need to wait, you just press and enjoy. For example, an Italian Chianti would be set between 60-120 minutes. For us, the sweet spot was 90 minutes. We suggest starting at 60 and work your way up to see what you prefer.

A few of the aspects we like about the electronic wine aerator is that it doesn't take up any space compared to a decanter or something similar that would have a much larger footprint. The Vinxper doesn't drip after you've poured your wine. We don't know how it does that, but it's a great feature. You can enjoy your good bottles of wine right away with the push of a button. We also like that it can make a cheap wine, or a young wine, taste significantly better than it would otherwise. Lastly, we love how easy it is to clean.

When you finish a wine bottle, rinse it out with water. Then fill the empty bottle about 3/4 of the way with water and insert the Vinxper, press and hold the button to flush the water through. Run at least a half bottle of water through it. After you flushed the water through, pull the device out and press the button an additional 3 seconds to get any remaining water out. Then pull it apart and wipe down.

The

comes with a usb cable to charge it. You'll have to give it a full charge when you first get it, but the instructions say it will last for up to 60 bottles. We haven't had to recharge our device yet! We can't say enough good things about this device. We use it regularly and recommend it to any wine lover that wants their wine to taste better.
